TagLib
Reading and writing the tags inside your files is done with TagLib, which is available under either the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or theMozilla Public License, version 1.1. Both licence texts ship in the app's source tree alongside the library. TagLib's own sources are used unmodified.
Noir Didone
The wordmark is set in Noir Didone, a derivative of Theano Didot by Alexey Kryukov (© 2007–2008), thinned toward Didot's stroke ratios and used, like the original, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The masthead on the front page draws its letters as outlines of that face rather than loading the font itself.
Artist photos and biographies
When artist photos and descriptions are switched on (they are on by default), the app fetches them from Deezer and from Wikipedia. Wikipedia text is used under CC BY-SA, and the app credits it in place, on the artist page beside the text itself, with a link back to the article, because an attribution has to travel with the content it covers. Built with Astro (MIT). The player icons on the landing page are Material Symbols, Apache License 2.0, drawn at the axes the app draws them at. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Album artwork and track names shown in the demo player are the property of their respective owners and appear only to demonstrate the app.
